About
Hi, I’m Rhonda.
I’m a Chartered Professional Accountant in Calgary. I run Ultimate Financial Services on my own, which means when you hire me, you work with me. Not a junior I’ve never trained, not a chatbot, not whoever picks up the phone.
I’ve been doing personal and small business tax for years, and I’m EFILE certified with CRA. Over time I’ve built up a hundred-plus five-star Google reviews, mostly through word of mouth. Clients send me their family, their business partners, the friend who’s three years behind on filing.
If you’re here because you’re stressed about tax, that part’s normal. We’ll get it sorted.

Learn moreWhy clients stick around
Small-firm work, done at a CPA level.
One person, your whole file.
No handoffs between a bookkeeper, a junior, and a partner who only shows up at year-end. I do the books, the GST, the payroll, and the tax return. The context never gets lost.
CPA work that doesn’t feel corporate.
You get the same training and credentials as the big firms without the markup or the meeting culture. Plain English explanations, real recommendations, no jargon for the sake of it.
I actually pick up the phone.
If you call during business hours, I’ll answer. If I can’t, I call back the same day. That’s the bar, and I keep it.
Who I work with
If you file taxes in Canada, I can probably help.
Sole proprietors
Self-employed contractors, freelancers, side-hustle owners. Schedule T2125 on a personal return.
Incorporated small businesses
CCPCs with one owner-manager, partnerships, family businesses, professional corporations.
Salaried employees
Straightforward T4 returns, often with rental income, investments, or RRSP/TFSA optimization on top.
Self-employed & gig workers
Uber, contractors, online sellers, anyone with a stack of 1099-style or T4A slips.
Seniors
Pension splitting, OAS, CPP, age and pension credits, RRIF income. Done with patience.
New Canadians
First-year filers who need someone to explain how the Canadian system actually works.
Late filers
People who are one, three, or seven years behind. It happens. I’ve seen it. Let’s get you current.
Owners switching accountants
Mid-year handoffs included. I’ll get the prior accountant’s file and pick up where they left off.

Google reviews
107 reviews. 5.0 stars. Here’s what a few say.
“I was three years behind on my taxes and dreading the call. Rhonda walked me through everything in one sitting, refiled what was missed, and even got me a refund on the oldest year. I’ll never use anyone else.”
“Switched to Rhonda after my old accountant kept missing deadlines. She picked up my year-end, fixed two prior years that had errors, and got my T2 in on time. Calm and clear the entire way.”
“I’ve been self-employed for a decade and Rhonda is the first accountant who actually explains what she’s doing. I leave every meeting feeling like I understand my own books.”
“Got a scary review letter from CRA on my GST. Rhonda took it from there, dealt with them directly, and the assessment came back with no changes. Worth every dollar.”
“Honest, professional, and quick. I sent her my slips in the morning and had my return filed the same week. She told me upfront what it would cost. No surprises.”
“Rhonda set up the books for my new corporation and now handles payroll for my two employees. The whole package. I don’t think about taxes anymore, which is the whole point.”

FAQ
Common questions
Are you taking new clients?
Yes. New personal tax and small business clients are welcome year-round. Closer to the April deadline things get tighter, so reach out earlier if you can.
Do you do both personal and business taxes?
I do. Most of my clients use me for both: their T1 (personal) and their T2 (corporate) under one roof. Bookkeeping, payroll, and GST sit on the same shelf.
How does pricing work?
I don’t post prices because every file is different. Book a 30-minute consultation. I’ll ask a few questions, then quote you upfront in writing. No surprise invoices.
Do you meet in person or virtually?
Both. The office is in northeast Calgary if you want to come by. Otherwise everything works over phone, email, and a secure upload link. I have clients I’ve worked with for years who I’ve never met face to face.
What software do you work in?
I file through CRA-certified tax software (EFILE). For bookkeeping I work in QuickBooks Online and Xero most often, but I’ll work in whatever you already have set up.
Ready when you are.
Book a 30-minute call. I’ll listen to what you’re dealing with, ask a few questions, and tell you upfront what it’ll cost.
